The Louisiana Lagniappe Chapter of EGA has planned a “Stitching Gumbo” for you! A Gumbo is a savory blend of many fine food ingredients. At Seminar 2014 there will be a blend of ingredients but of a different variety.
The savory main ingredient (Faculty) has been selected. Class pieces are on the website ready for your viewing pleasure. We are confident that you will be able to find a class that appeals to you! And remember, there is always Studio Time to finish up any UFOs you have in the closet!
“The Trinity” (favors, door prizes and opportunity knocks baskets) is prepped.
Scrumptious side dishes (Region Day Tours, Tuesday Night Classes, Merchandise Night, Bookstore and Boutique) are planned.
We are offering three tours on Region Day, Wednesday June 11, 2014. Family and friends are welcome!
Three diverse classes are offered on Tuesday night. They are a canvas class, a beaded bracelet and a crazy quilt music box! You should be able to finish (or be close to) finishing your project by the end of the evening!
Naturally, you can “shop until you drop” at the Thursday night Merchandise Night.
That is, if you haven’t spent all your money at the Boutique brought to you by The French Knot of Diamondhead, MS or the Ruth Kern Bookstore.
So join us at the spacious Crowne Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge June 10 – 14, 2014 and make your own “Stitching Gumbo”!!!
Yours in stitches,
SCR Seminar 2014 Chairman
